Journaling is a powerful life tool, and an ancient tradition dating back to at least 10th Century Japan. There are numerous health benefits to journaling, particularly for mental health, as writing is a super effective form of stress management.
Using a planner during Ramadan is a way to help achieve a deeper spiritual connection as the simple act of writing and reflecting enables you to become more mindful of your actions, your thoughts and your prayers. Spending just a short time writing a few small paragraphs in your Ramadan planner is enough to keep you inspired and motivated each day of this special month. These beautiful planners have been designed by Reyhana Ismail ho is a Uk based graphic designer. She specialises in magazine and book designs and you may have seen her illustrations in childrens books!
She strongly feels that if you love what you do, this will enhance your work and produce amazing results.
Reflections and anticipation of Ramadan
O Ramadan Come Fourth, the Hearts Are Ill…
The Ramadan planner is full of motivational prompts, daily reflections, focus for Laylat-ul-Qadr and early ‘Eid preparation. It is available in a regular version, and one written specifically for teens and pre-teens.
There is also a separate colouring and activity book for younger children, which teaches the basic principles of Ramadan through colouring pages and activities. The daily spreads allow children to reflect upon each day of Ramadan, how much they managed to fast and pray, and good deeds they did each day – a great way for children to learn the practice of reflecting and journaling, and to be mindful of their actions.
