Yemen is facing what the United Nations deem to be the “worlds worst humanitarian crisis”. Yemen has seen a brutal war since 2015, Houthi rebels against a Saudi-led coalition, who are, “fighting on behalf of the internationally recognised government, a conflict that has killed at least 56,000 people”. Amongst all of this, a little girl 7-year-old Amal Hussein, who previously has been the symbol of Yemen’s famine, after her photo was published in the New York Times, subsequently going viral, died last Thursday. A recent report from a Turkish prostate Newspaper, Daily Sabah, has suggested that a Saudi group who tried to erase evidence of the body of Khashoggi. Saudi Arabia has deployed two specialists, “a chemist and toxicology expert to Istanbul after the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The team has reportedly done so to attempt a cover-up of evidence of the killing. The team of 11 members was reportedly deployed to Istanbul October 11th just 9 days after the journalist entered the consulate to obtain paperwork for his marriage. Read the full story here.
