The Muslim Ban is an accumulation of systemic attacks on Muslim communities, its reinstatement has caused the president to champion his largely white supremacist Islamophobic vitriol. The ban is alleged to be facing serious legal scrutiny.
On April 25th 2018, the US supreme court, reviewed the US president Donald Trump’s travel ban litigation. Busy with its nine members debating as to whether the ban was ‘constitutional’ on Wednesday. The US administration’s attorney solicitor general Noel Francisco, during the oral arguments, defended the ban, made a massive error when referring to “Islam as a country,” In his closing statement.
“[Trump] made it crystal clear on September 25th that he had no intention of imposing the Muslim ban,” Francisco argued. “He has made crystal clear that Muslims in this country are great Americans, and there are many, many Muslims countries who love this country, and he has praised Islam as one of the great countries of the world.”
According to No Muslim Ban Ever, On December 4, 2017, the Supreme Court reinstated the Muslim Ban, “lifting the injunctions granted by the Fourth and Ninth Circuits. Although the Supreme Court did not reach the merits of the Muslim Ban, it allowed the ban to take full effect.”
A GREAT COUNTRY???
Wow…You're at the Supreme Court of the Untied States and you clearly articulate how ignorant, stupid or otherwise you are in just five words…"Islam is a great country."
One wonders if they've all come out from under the rock, or are there still some left? https://t.co/3Ht7enrSkw

Srsly this is such a tell about how the current admin defines Muslim people and Islam, and how religion is ethnos, national status, and race. Betrays the logics of the travel ban as in fact a "Muslim ban."https://t.co/YrvLAXA5jH

“Together, we raise our voices to say: No Muslim Ban Ever.” The Trump administration continues to push white supremacist and exclusionary policies that discriminate on the basis of faith, national origin, and immigration status. We invite you to join us and declare #NoMuslimBanEver to raise awareness, resist and dismantle these policies.
This morning, I attended oral arguments in Trump v. Hawaii, our state's case against the President's Muslim ban. Proud to join so many activists at the Supreme Court today to say #NoMuslimBanEver pic.twitter.com/eP9rnc2Emf

With the Muslim ban, Trump has violated the constitutional right to religious equality and the basic principles of our immigration laws.
The Supreme Court should put an end to it once and for all. #NoMuslimBanEVER pic.twitter.com/wLzzcjvK5i

The United States Supreme Court is currently debating Trump’s Muslim ban.
The government attorney arguing in defense of the ban just closed by saying “Islam is a great country.”
We’re doomed.

As I listen to French President Macron address Congress, I'm struck that it's the same day that the Supreme Court will hear the Muslim travel ban case. The French people recognized the U.S. as a nation of immigrants when they gifted us the Statue of Liberty.

A reminder: #NoMuslimBanEver as the Supreme Court hears oral arguments on this unconstitutional ban today.
Whatever the results are, we have a long way to go. Yesterday I was able to speak on the ban& reflect on its impact on us, and our resiliency in the days and months after. pic.twitter.com/4kncBWs7aW
