Hana Tajima has launched her next collection with Uniqlo this Spring, after the initial launch in 2016 which saw a collection with darker hues for Autumn/Winter this collection is generally much lighter in terms of both hues and with fabric choices such as linen and tencel . The collaborative approach is a positive step in the space of modest fashion where big brands are looking to work ‘with’ those in the modest fashion space. The collection also features tencel which is a sustainable fabric, the process uses less water and energy in comparison to fabrics like cotton. The designs are inspired by her Japanese roots and are beautiful staple pieces for our spring wardrobe. The collection also see’s a range of hijabs and hijab caps. We’ve had a look and here are some of our favorite pieces from the beautiful collection, for those of us who like to wear black all year round there’s a few pick for you too!
