Suhoor Smoothie Recipe

With the little time between iftar and Suhoor, it can sometimes feel like a struggle to get food down at suhoor time. Smoothies are a perfect solution to get your nutrients and enough goodies to start your fast. For those of you that have a little bit more energy at suhoor time to make your smoothie into a smoothie bowl, here is some great inspo. Granted, some of them look more like art than food or as my sister calls them, fruit curries.

Adding a handful of oats is also a great addition to help sustain you through the day!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana (or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or milk
  • Toppings (optional)
    • Fresh raspberries and blueberries
    • goji berries
    • coconut flakes
    • cacao nibs

 METHOD

  1. Blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a glass and add your desired toppings.
