What’s food got to do with heritage?

This year Amaliah.com’s little sis HalalGems.com hosted a not so little festival #streeteatsfest in the heart of London to celebrate diversity in food and culture!
The 3 day event saw thousands of people enjoy some of the best street food London has to offer, as well as some amazing events including our panel on food and heritage with guests Fatma Al-Baiti @meetmeatfatmas , Ayaan Abdullahi from @poetryandshaah & @everydaymuslimheritage ‘s Sadiya Ahmed and hosted by our very own Selina Bakkar to discuss why one meal can tell us everything.
